Healthcare or Transportation Consultant at HerPath, LLC

Location: Remote/Flexible

Are you passionate about helping entrepreneurs turn their dreams into thriving businesses? Do you have expertise in healthcare or transportation industries and a knack for guiding others to success? 

HerPath, LLC is seeking dedicated Healthcare or Transportation Consultants to join our growing team. As a consultant with HerPath, LLC, you will play a critical role in empowering clients to launch and operate successful businesses in home care, group homes, non-medical and freight transportation, dispatching, and freight brokerage sectors.

Key Responsibilities

For Healthcare Consultants:

  • Guide clients through the process of starting and managing businesses such as home care agencies, home health care agencies, and group homes.
  • Assist with licensing, Medicaid approval, and compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Develop and implement day-to-day operational systems, including policies, procedures, HR frameworks, and client intake processes.
  • Train clients on key industry tools such as scheduling software and client management systems.
  • Provide marketing strategies tailored to attract clients and grow their healthcare business.

For Transportation Consultants:

  • Help clients establish and operate businesses such as freight transportation companies, non-medical transportation services, dispatching firms, and freight brokerages.
  • Assist with obtaining necessary licenses and certifications (e.g., DOT/MC authority, FMCSA compliance).
  • Guide clients through the setup of operational workflows, driver recruitment, and fleet management.
  • Train clients on essential industry tools, including load boards, TMS software, and route planning systems.
  • Provide insights into branding, marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
    • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in healthcare, transportation, or consulting roles.
    • Proven expertise in launching or managing businesses in the respective field.


  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of licensing, compliance, and operational requirements for healthcare or transportation businesses.
    • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
    • Ability to create and deliver customized solutions for clients with varying levels of experience.
    • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., scheduling software, TMS platforms, load boards).
